-When winding, note should be taken in which direction the mandrel will turn.
-If wound incorrectly the paper will unravel as the mandrel turns.
-If wound correctly the motion of turn against the object will keep the paper tight on the mandrel.
-Once the 'outside' turn of paper is worn, this can be removed to reveal 'fresh' paper.
