    Description

    This fine 19th century Markneukirchen cello has a magnificently dark, articulate, and powerful tone with an unusually large dynamic range and excellent projection. This cello's tone and playability are highly responsive to adjustment, having previously had a Baroque and modern set up. This cello is a visual feast! The spruce top and richly figured maple ribs and back are crowned by a lovely cut scroll, and craqueled deep brown varnish.
    This cello has had anumber of professional repairs, a new bassbar, and neck graft. Comes with Akusticus tailpiece, carbon fiber endpin,
    Jarger (a d), Bel Canto (g c) strings.
