    Description

    Up for auction is a gently used Howarth S20C conservatory wood oboe with third octave key, a left hand F key and low Bb key.  All keys move freely and the pads are in great condition. This oboe has been shop adjusted and plays fine now, but may require a minor adjustment after shipping or for personal preference. There are no cracks present or repaired and no bore issues exist. The serial number is in the S7xx range. This oboe has surface scratches throughout from normal use and the lightly tarnished silver plated keys have approximately 99% of the plating intact.  Included is an oboe case, two tenon caps, a reed case and a cork grease container.
    INTERMEDIATE MODEL FOR THE ASTUTE STUDENT PLAYER
    The S20C is light in weight and has covered keys making it ideal for the younger student with smaller hands. It is a simplified conservatory system with semi-automatic octaves, which easily meets the needs of playing to an advanced level. The S20C has an excellent tone and reliable tuning.
