!   This is a rare studio acetate of a recording by a
very young
Steve Perry in his High School band "The Sullies".  No album was ever made by them although they reportedly recorded songs several times.  Of course he went on the become the legendary lead singer of Journey.
The song on this disc is “The Girl I Left Behind”, and it dates from the mid 1960s. I would describe the song as somewhat similar to the Byrds- guitars, nice harmonies, and an organ in the background. It has been said that Steve Perry was the main songwriter for the group.
The acetate is single sided. I would probably grade it in the VG+ range.
